Peru!

Safely to Peru, right now, we are in the city of San Bartolo, a city south coast of Lima. Our flight leaving out of Washington DC was way too crazy. First off, the flight was 3 hours of non stop (seemed to me dangerous) turbulence (spelling) and it was beyond scary, imagine 3 hours! We landed almost crashed landed in San Salvador, El Salvador, i say crash landed cause the pilot just dropped the plane down instead of landing.

San Bartolo

Okay, enough of that, while flying down to Lima, I met a guy and a girl from Buenos Aires and I told them about where we are going and what we are doing in South America, they invited us to visit them when we arrive in Argentina, which will be a few months from now. After arriving in Lima, we immediately took a taxi (official) to the beach town, our goal was to get out of Lima right away. Though, I must confess that I really wanted to check out the city. From what I saw from the window of the taxi, the city vibe was cool, people were outside walking around at night, lovers kissing pássionily (spelling) and cars nearly hitting one another and the police standing around with a great sense of pride.

I love this place. Now, we are hoping to meet up with our friend, Samuel, who has been traveling around Northern Peru for quite sometime, we are confident that he will make it here.
